In a shocking turn of events, Samuel Haskell Jr., the son of prominent Hollywood agent Samuel Haskell Sr., now faces three counts of murder in connection with the tragic deaths of his wife and her parents. The Los Angeles County District Attorney, George Gascón, announced these grave charges on Monday.
Haskell Jr. stands accused of the murder of his 37-year-old wife, Mei, along with her parents, 72-year-old Gaoshan Li and 64-year-old Yanxiang Wang. If found guilty, he could potentially be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
According to TMZ, this disturbing case came to light when a dismembered human torso was discovered in a garbage bin just last week, a grim discovery made by a homeless individual in Encino. Previous reports also unveiled surveillance footage capturing Haskell Jr. in the company of day laborers at his residence, where they were seen transporting garbage bags to a truck.
One of these workers revealed that they had been informed the bags contained rocks, but their suspicions grew, leading them to inspect one of the bags, which horrifyingly contained human remains. They promptly returned the bags to Haskell and immediately dialed 911 to alert authorities.
As it became apparent that Haskell Jr. had taken it upon himself to dispose of the body, we obtained additional footage showing him disposing of what appeared to be a heavy bag into a dumpster the following Tuesday afternoon—the very same dumpster in which the torso had been found just a day later.
This deeply disturbing case continues to unfold, leaving a community in shock and seeking answers to the horrifying events that have transpired.
