It seems like Britney Spears is not interested in taking a trip down memory lane, at least not when it comes to her childhood home in Kentwood, Louisiana. Despite the property being on the market for $1.2 million, well within her budget, the pop star has no plans or interest in purchasing her family’s old house.

TMZ reports that Britney is aware of the property being up for sale but had a relatively neutral reaction when she found out about it. The house, which was previously sold by her father, Jamie Spears, for $289k, includes some original furnishings, such as a door with “Christina sucks, Brit rules” written on it, which appears to be a dig at Christina Aguilera.

Additionally, the property contains some of Britney’s art, a mini-shrine dedicated to NSYNC, and even a message from the singer etched in concrete. While many fans speculated that Britney might consider purchasing the home or turning it into a museum given these unique items, it seems that she has no plans to do so.

Britney Spears is moving forward with her life and career, and it appears that her past is firmly in the rearview mirror.
