Harry Styles’ Mom Comes to His Defense Over New Buzzcut Amid Public Backlash

Harry Styles is certainly one of the most established musicians in the industry right now as he has several hit songs under his belt. On top of that Harry Styles is a fashion icon in a lot of ways. He recently introduced a new hairstyle and got backlash for it and now his mother defended him.

Harry Styles recently took to Vogue’s social media and introduced a new haircut – a buzzcut. This hairstyle was very uncharacteristic of Styles, as fans were used to his curly, longer locks. Due to this, a lot of fans were angry and he faced backlash due to this.

In spite of all the backlash, Harry Styles’ mother Anne Twist took to her Instagram and defended her son’s hairstyle choice. She talked about Harry Styles’ legacy of kindness and inclusivity – emphasizing his efforts to make everyone feel seen and appreciated for who they are. Anne Twist expressed confusion over the negativity directed at Harry for simply changing his hairstyle.

”When you consider that H has a legacy of kindness and inclusion, has always made every effort to make everyone feel seen and appreciated for exactly who they are … there’s an irony in the negativity he’s been shown for having a haircut. Sorry but I don’t get it 🤷🏻‍♀️#TPWK”

Anne Twist further shared an article about Harry’s new, making it clear that it’s just a hairstyle and he can grow it back if he wants to. Regardless, many fans will have to accept his new hairstyle and that’s not changing anytime soon.
