Michael B. Jordan remains one of the most established actors in Hollywood right now. He has kept himself busy engaged in a variety of roles over the years and that includes his role in the ‘Creed’ franchise. Now it appears the fourth film in the ‘Creed’ franchise is already underway.
The ‘Creed’ spinoff series stars Michael B. Jordan as Apollo Creed’s son Adonis. However, Stallone’s character did not return in the third ‘Creed’ film. The reason for Stallone not being in the film was also revealed previously.
‘Creed 3’ was Michael B. Jordan’s directorial debut and it definitely lived up to expectations. Not only did the movie achieve commercial success, but it also garnered critical acclaim.
While speaking to Deadline, producer Irwin Winkler dropped a bombshell as he confirmed that Creed IV is already in development and that Michael B. Jordan will be the director once again.
”We’re planning to do Creed IV right now, and we have a really good story, really good plot. Plans were delayed because of strike, like everybody else but probably a year from now we’re going for pre-production.”
Michael B. Jordan’s dual role as both director and lead actor in Creed III contributed significantly to the film’s success, and audiences can now eagerly anticipate the creative magic he will bring to Creed IV, whenever it releases.
