Taylor Swift is arguably one of the most popular musicians in the music industry right now, but tragedy struck after a fan passed away before her Brazil show recently. Now, the father of the fan is demanding answers.
The pop star had just performed at Rio’s Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos on Friday, but a young fan tragically lost her life before the show began. Taylor Swift expressed her heartbreak over the incident and decided to postpone her second concert in Brazil due to the fan’s death.
The father of Ana Clara Benevides Machado, who tragically passed away at Taylor Swift’s concert in Brazil, is seeking answers and clarification regarding the circumstances surrounding his daughter’s death.
Weiny Machado expressed his grief and concerns in an interview with the Brazilian newspaper Folha de S.Paulo. He specifically wants to know whether fans were prohibited from bringing water into the concert and if there was a lack of assistance provided.
“I want to know if it’s true that they are prohibited from bringing water and neglected to provide assistance. I lost my only daughter, a happy and intelligent girl. She was about to graduate in psychology next April, saving money. I have no words to express my pain. She left home to fulfill a dream and came back dead.”
Unsurprisingly, the grieving father is seeking clarification on the circumstances leading to Ana Clara’s tragic death, hoping to understand whether there were any preventable factors that could have contributed to the incident. We offer our condolences to Machado during this sad time.
