Jason Momoa’s role as Aquaman/Arthur Curry was incredibly well-received, both critically and commercially. It was also touted as one of the best films produced under the DCEU banner. Now the second trailer for the sequel film has finally been released.
Warner Bros. Pictures has unveiled the second trailer for James Wan’s highly anticipated fantasy epic, “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.” The release of the trailer has definitely built up anticipation for the film.
Reprising their iconic roles are Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Patrick Wilson as his half-brother Orm, Amber Heard as Mera, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as the formidable Black Manta, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus, and Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin.
The trailer shows Black Manta still being determined to avenge his father’s death and kill Aquaman. It features several action sequences featuring all sorts of dangerous lifeforms, as the trailer promised that the upcoming film will be the most personal film featuring Aquaman yet.
“Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” is set to open in theaters worldwide beginning December 22nd. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether the film will end up becoming a huge hit.
