According to Axios Miami, the 27-year-old has been held accountable for striking a dancer named Alexis Salaberrios in the head with a champagne bottle. A Florida jury has awarded her $9.8 million in damages after the rapper failed to appear at his civil trial over the summer.

The incident in question unfolded at the Gold Rush strip club in Miami, Florida in 2021, leading the alleged victim to take legal action against Tekashi.

Salaberrios claims that she has not received her compensation from the rapper, alleging that he has been concealing his assets and income to avoid payment. She has proposed seizing his earnings to satisfy the court order.

Last month, 6ix9ine was released from jail on $500,000 bail related to his alleged involvement in an assault on two men in the Dominican Republic. He is subject to a restraining order, requiring him to stay away from his accusers, and must attend anger management classes.

Upon leaving jail, he expressed his gratitude to God and his fans, particularly those in the Dominican Republic, for their support. The Brooklyn rapper was arrested in October for allegedly assaulting two men over an incident involving his girlfriend.
