Full House remains one of the most beloved sitcoms of all time, as the show ran for 8 seasons from 1987 to 1995. The spinoff to the main series titled Fuller House aired in 2016 and ended a few years ago. Interestingly enough, John Stamos and Lori Loughlin had a Full House reunion in the form of a dance video.
John Stamos and Lori Loughlin are known for their roles as Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky on Full House. The two had a reunion and fans had a blast as they came together for a clip where they showed off their dance moves to Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton’s 1983 hit “Islands in the Stream.”
As seen in the video, Satmos and Loughlin perform jazz squares, step-touches, and finger snaps while wearing wide smiles. Stamos also sings a bit of the iconic track during the lighthearted routine. The video was shared on Instagram and TikTok, with Stamos asking fans, “How’d we do?”
The nostalgic reunion resonated with fans, with one expressing gratitude for seeing the two stars together since the two were major parts of that fan’s childhood. Another fan felt a major hit of nostalgia as well, after watching the video.
”I am so happy to see the two of you together because you were both a huge part of my childhood. Thank you.”
‘‘My 12 year old self is screaming!!! Uncle Jesse & Aunt Becky foreverrrrr.”
The video and the warm response from fans made it clear that Full House is still loved by fans, almost three decades since the original series ended. Regardless, we’ll have to see if fans will get to see more Full House reunions in the future.
