Diddy Faces New Assault Allegations Tied to 1991 Incident Caught on Film

Diddy is currently one of the most established rappers in the hip-hop industry. The rapper is an essential part of pop culture as well for good reason. Diddy is well aware of how the times have changed in the industry, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t wrapped in controversy. He is facing fresh sexual assault allegations right now, as his legal woes keep on piling.

As previously reported, Diddy and Cassie had ‘amicably’ settled their sexual assault lawsuit, which shocked many people for good reason. Clearly, that was only just the beginning of his issues.

Diddy is now facing allegations of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman during a 1991 date, with accusations that he filmed the assault. According to The New York Post, the lawsuit has been initiated by Joi Dickerson-Neal, a former Syracuse University student, who claims that Combs sexually assaulted her after a dinner date at Wells Restaurant in Harlem.

According to the filed complaint in Manhattan Supreme Court, it is alleged that Diddy gave Dickerson-Neal drugs, which ended her unable to stand or walk on her own. The document details how Diddy then allegedly drove her to a music studio where she couldn’t exit the car and subsequently took her to another location where the sexual assault took place. All the while, he was filming the entire act without her consent.

A friend of the victim later informed her that he had seen the recording, stating that “everyone” had watched it. The lawsuit claimed that it led to her dropping out of college due to hospitalization for “severe depression and suicide ideation.”

It was further added that while Diddy became a huge name in music, Dickerson-Neal attempted to move on with her life, working on her emotional health, and economic recovery, and pursuing her degree.

Responding to the allegations, a spokesperson for the singer denied the claims, describing the lawsuit as a “money grab” and stating that Dickerson-Neal’s story is fabricated and lacks credibility. According to the representative, Diddy never assaulted her, and the lawsuit wrongly implicates non-existent companies. Regardless, we’ll have to see what will become of this lawsuit in the end.
