Diddy’s Spokesperson Insists He’s a ‘Target’ Amidst Third Assault Lawsuit

Diddy is currently one of the most established rappers in the hip-hop industry. The rapper is an essential part of pop culture as well for good reason. Diddy is well aware of how the times have changed in the industry, but that doesn’t mean he is exempt from legal woes, has is already being hit with one lawsuit after the other. Now Diddy’s spokesperson has shut down such lawsuits against the singer, stating that he is just being targeted.

As previously reported, Diddy and Cassie had ‘amicably’ settled their sexual assault lawsuit, which shocked many people for good reason. Clearly, that was only just the beginning of his issues.

Diddy would then get slapped with a second lawsuit, which stemmed from him allegedly sexually assaulting and recording a woman back in 1991. He then got hit with a third lawsuit today as well.

According to TMZ, a spokesperson for Diddy responded to the allegations, characterizing them as a “blatant money grab” and arguing that their client is unfairly targeted by anonymous accusers making false claims for financial gain. They contend that the Adult Survivors Act was not designed to be exploited in this manner.

“These are civil suits with fabricated claims of misconduct from over 30 years ago, which are nothing but a blatant money grab. Mr. Combs is being unfairly targeted by anonymous accusers who lie for financial gain. The New York Legislature never intended the Adult Survivors Act to be exploited.”

We will have to wait and see what will become of Diddy in the end. After all, he didn’t ever think in his wildest dreams that he would be hit with three sexual assault lawsuits in the span of a week.
