Josh Giddey is making waves in the NBA with the Oklahoma City Thunder and is now suddenly making headlines for all the wrong reasons. After all, he has been allegedly involved with an underage girl. Now he has refused to comment on the allegations in a recent video.
As of now, these accusations are unconfirmed, and Giddey has not released an official statement. Fans on Twitter have already passed judgment on the player. Fans anticipated that the NBA or the Oklahoma City Thunder, Giddey’s team, would address the situation, but no official statements have been made.
During a Thunder practice, Giddey faced questions from reporters regarding the allegations. His response was brief as he refused to comment on having a sexual relationship with the underage girl named Liv Cook, who is believed to be 15 or 16 years old.
“I understand the question obviously, but there’s no further comment right now.”
This limited response could indicate that Giddey has been advised by PR personnel to refrain from making statements. Surprisingly enough, Giddey continued taking part in team practice without any immediate disciplinary action from the Thunder. For all we know, he might not even get any punishment for this or an investigation for that matter. We’ll have to see what will become of Josh Giddey.
