Jamie Lynn Spears Clears the Air on Complex Relationship with Britney Spears

Jamie Lynn Spears worked hard to become a well-known name in her own right. Being Britney Spears’ sister, she has always been part of the limelight and this was not something she wanted. Interestingly enough, she has cleared the air on her complex relationship with Britney Spears.

In fact, Jamie Lynn Spears previously stated that it was hard for her to be Britney’s sister and that she had severe self-esteem issues. This led to Britney Spears blasting Jamie Lynn Spears. It is very clear that the sisters do not have the healthiest of relationships even now.

While speaking during a recent episode of the UK reality show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here, Jamie Lynn Spears made it clear that she still loves her big sister Britney Spears no matter what.

“Anything my sister did I always thought was the best. When it came to my sister, even if I felt anything, if anyone said anything I was ready to go. I was like, ‘Don’t talk about my sister, she’s the best. Yeah, I love my sister.”

Their relationship became even more strained after the release of Lynn’s memoir, Things I Should Have Said: Family, Fame, and Figuring it Out, as Britney Spears took offence to a lot of things in the memoir. Regardless, things do seem somewhat better between the two sisters and we hope it stays that way.
