Josh Giddey is making waves in the NBA with the Oklahoma City Thunder and is now suddenly making headlines for all the wrong reasons. After all, he has been allegedly involved with an underage girl. Now his incredibly lucrative deal with Weet-Bix might be in jeopardy.

As of now, these accusations are unconfirmed, and Giddey has not released an official statement. That said, Giddey recently made it clear he had no intention of directly answering the allegations.

According to a report by RadarOnline.com, Josh Giddey stands to lose a $40 million sponsorship with Australian cereal giant Weet-Bix, after being accused of having a relationship with a minor girl.

As previously reported, the NBA has launched an investigation into the matter. A representative of Weet-Bix noted that they are aware of the allegations and are monitoring the NBA investigation closely.

”We are obviously aware of news surrounding Josh Giddey and are waiting for facts to be confirmed. We are in contact with Josh’s management team and waiting on further detail at this point.”

Josh Giddey signed a four-year, $40 million deal with the brand and has been the face of their “Every Bite Counts” campaign, but that might be over once the NBA investigation concludes. We’ll have to wait and see what will become of Josh Giddey in the end.
