NFL star Von Miller is facing legal trouble as an arrest warrant has been issued against him for allegedly assaulting a pregnant woman. The incident occurred on November 29 at around 11 AM in a Dallas-area residence, leading to a major disturbance call to the police.
According to TMZ Sports, authorities responded to the scene, where they were informed of a verbal argument between Miller and the woman that escalated into a physical altercation. Miller had left the scene before the police arrived, and the woman received treatment for minor injuries, though she was not taken to the hospital.
As of early Thursday morning, the 34-year-old Buffalo Bills pass rusher had not been arrested. Von Miller’s team released a statement acknowledging the incident as well.
“This morning, we were made aware of an incident involving Von Miller. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at this point.”
”We are aware of the matter and have been in contact with the club. We have no further comment at this time,” said the NFL in an offiical statement”.
Originally from DeSoto, Texas, Miller is currently on a bye week. His last game for the Buffalo Bills was on Sunday in Philadelphia, where he logged 21 snaps in an overtime loss to the Eagles. Miller began his NFL career in 2011 with the Denver Broncos, achieving Super Bowl 50 MVP status. However, he was traded to the Los Angeles Rams during the 2021 season.
After contributing to the Rams’ Super Bowl victory, Miller joined the Buffalo Bills in 2022. Unfortunately, his performance has been affected since he tore his ACL on Thanksgiving last season.
