Kim Kardashian Admits Her Family ‘Scammed The System’ to Get Famous

Kim Kardashian became a billionaire back in 2021 and a lot of things changed after that. Her business sense and relentless drive have helped her reach the top, and she leaves no stone unturned to achieve her goals. That being said, she made a huge admission about her family recently.

According to Page Six, Kim Kardashian reflected on the unexpected success of the Kardashian/Jenner family, attributing their rise to global stardom. During the season 4 finale of “The Kardashians,” Kim Kardashian joked that they “scammed the system” to achieve their fame.

During a celebration for Scott Disick’s 40th birthday, Kris Jenner acknowledged Disick’s long-standing connection with the family, dating back to the first episode of their original reality show, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” Disick recalled his initial skepticism about the show’s success.

“You were literally here episode one, season 1,’ said Kris Jenner.

“I was like, ‘This show’s going nowhere,’” Disick joked in response.

Kim, who has known Disick for over 19 years, expressed gratitude for his unwavering support. The family bantered about memorable moments, including a playful reference to Kim being on the cover of “Dog Fancy,” which was corrected to “K9 Magazine.”

“[Remember] when you were on the cover of Dog Fancy?

Anything for a cover!” Kim quipped. “Guys, we scammed the system. We did it! Whatever it is, we figured it out and did it! We put in some hard work.”

In a confessional interview, Kim credited Scott as her motivator, pointing out his tendency to remind her of their unbelievable journey. She expressed disbelief at their current status as well.

“Scott’s my motivator. He’ll always say, ‘God, can you believe you did it?’ And I’m like, ‘I can’t, this is crazy.’ … We aren’t supposed to be here, like how did we get in this cool party? We weren’t the cool kids, how did we do it?”

Kim concluded by expressing her appreciation for having a voice and the platform she has been given. Regardless, the Kardashian dynasty is full of billionaires now and that’s all that matters to them.
