Nicki Minaj Scores Legal Success Over Damaged Jewelry Just Days After $1 Million Claim

Nicki Minaj worked tirelessly to establish herself as one of the most accomplished female rappers in the hip-hop industry. She also has her fair share of legal woes, but one of them seems to have ended finally.

According to RadarOnline.com, Los Angeles jeweler Roseark has dropped its lawsuit against Nicki Minaj over alleged unpaid bills related to custom jewelry pieces. The West Hollywood-based company had initially filed a civil lawsuit in June, claiming that it loaned several pieces to Minaj through her stylist, Brett Alan Nelson, for a public appearance. However, the items were returned damaged.

According to court documents, Roseark informed the court that it is dismissing all claims in the case. The jeweler had accused Minaj’s stylist of failing to return 66 pieces of jewelry by the agreed-upon deadline and claimed damage to earrings and a leaf ring upon their return.

Minaj’s team countered the allegations, stating that the jewelry was not returned late, and no issues were raised until a significant amount of time after the pieces were turned in. Roseark had sent an invoice for $26,239.50 plus interest over the alleged damages, but Minaj and her team reportedly refused to pay the bill.

The dismissal of this lawsuit comes amidst another legal battle for Nicki Minaj. A British Virgin Islands-based company, BS Associates Company Limited. recently filed a petition to confirm an arbitration award against Minaj’s company Pink Personality. BSA claimed they wired $1 million to Minaj’s agent for a 2018 concert in China, which Minaj allegedly missed.

BSA sought to reschedule the event but claimed Minaj failed to provide dates despite accepting the money. The arbitration awarded BSA $1.4 million, and they filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court to confirm the award and begin the process of collecting the judgment.
