The Game has worked hard to establish himself as one of the best rappers in the world of hip-hop. He is highly successful, but it wasn’t always that way for the rapper, as he lived in poverty as a kid. Now he had to cough up a lot of money to a sexual assault accuser while his ‘shell companies’ lawsuit wages on.
Priscilla Rainey, who accused The Game of sexual assault, has now accused him of creating shell companies to evade paying a $7 million judgment awarded to her in 2016. Court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com reveal Rainey’s claims against The Game, his manager Cash Jones, and various associated companies, including JTT Holdings, F12 & Associates, 5th Amendment Entertainment, and Pass Go 2 Win LLC.
Rainey’s initial lawsuit in 2016 stemmed from her appearance on The Game’s VH1 dating show, “She’s Got Game,” during which she alleged that the rapper sexually assaulted her. Despite The Game’s denial, Rainey was awarded millions in damages.
In her recent lawsuit, Rainey contends that The Game and Jones used the aforementioned companies to transfer and conceal assets, hindering her efforts to collect the judgment. Rainey’s legal team has been actively pursuing the seizure of The Game’s royalties and business profits over the years.
Rainey’s motion reveals that she has collected approximately $500,000 of the $7,130,100 judgment to date. She accuses The Game and Jones of conspiring to transfer and conceal assets, pointing to various social media posts as evidence of their refusal to pay the judgment.
Rainey especially stressed alleged transfers of ownership, including The Game transferring his company to Jones, the transfer of rights to his trademark to Jones’ company, and the transfer of the title of his mansion to Jones. Rainey claims The Game continues to reside in the mansion despite the ownership transfer.
She further added that these actions were intended to prevent her from seizing assets, and she deems them as fraudulent. Rainey requests the court to rule that the mansion is owned by The Game, allowing her to place a lien on the property.
Jones denies all allegations of wrongdoing, and a trial is scheduled for the coming month. The legal battle between Rainey and The Game over the unpaid judgment continues. Keep checking back at Thirsty For News as we will keep you updated on this ongoing legal battle.
