T.I. and his son King Harris got into a heated altercation at an NFL game over the weekend, an incident that was captured on camera. The father-son duo attended the Atlanta Falcons vs. New Orleans Saints game at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Sunday. Now the singer went after a club promoter who made an insensitive flyer mocking the fight with his son.
Things got really heated between the two and it saw T.I. placing his son in a headlock and scolding him for embarrassing the family. T.I. recently confronted a club promoter in Atlanta after the club used a promotional flyer to mock the recent fight he had with his son at an NFL game.
The rapper was scheduled to host the club’s “R&B Wednesdays” night at Elleven45 Lounge. However, the promotional flyer featured an edited picture of T.I. putting his son. In a video posted on Instagram capturing the confrontation, T.I. can be heard expressing his dissatisfaction, warning the promoter not to play with him in his city. He demanded that everything be provided to him and his entourage, threatening to stop the event.
“N****, you can talk to me. Until then, ain’t nothing going. Ain’t nobody getting nothing going. Call who you need to call, do what you need to do. Ain’t nothing happening — no money, no beers, no partying, no sections, nothing!
You put me and mine on the m******** flyer, n***** get me everything. And if you can’t, don’t play with me. I don’t know if y’all from here, but n**** don’t play with me in this city. It’s my m********* city. Don’t play with me in this city.”
T.I. took it a step further by getting the music in the club cut off and vowing to keep turning up until his image was removed from the flyer. In response to the situation, the club released a new poster featuring a smiling T.I. and King.
According to TMZ, despite the initial tension, the “R&B Wednesdays” event proceeded smoothly, with T.I., King, and the rapper’s other son, Domani, in attendance. Regardless, we hope things between T.I. and his son eventually cool down.
