Usher established himself as one of the best musicians in the industry right now. He also isn’t against accepting challenges when needed. He also has a big goal with his upcoming Halftime show performance next year.
According to RadarOnline, Usher is hoping headlining next year’s Super Bowl halftime show so he can make a return to The Voice, putting his past controversies behind him. He was a coach on the singing reality competition’s fourth and sixth seasons.
“The Super Bowl is the biggest achievement around for a musical artist — and Usher figures The Voice will want some of that action.“
Usher will have big boots to fill as Rihanna put on a stellar performance during this year’s Super Bowl. She stunned the world and revealed her second pregnancy with partner A$AP Rocky. It was added that The Voice isn’t interested in bringing on any hosts with baggage, despite what they accomplished.
“The Voice brass wants the show to be scandal-free in the personal lives of its coaches. Usher got put on the no-go list because of his notoriously racy love life!“
We will have to wait and whether Usher will actually have a great performance at the Super Bowl Halftime show next year, before he can even think about returning to The Voice.
