It looks like The Amazing Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield and self-proclaimed “professional witch” Dr. Kate have called it quits after a short-lived romance. Dr. Kate, who is described as a “world expert in Mysticism and Catholic women mystics” on her official website, confirmed the breakup over the weekend on Instagram.
When a fan commented on one of her posts asking, “Are you still dating Andrew Garfield? If so, tell him I’m a fan of him, please,” Dr. Kate responded, “We broke up months ago but I’m sure he will be happy to know that he is loved.”
Dr. Kate and Garfield were last seen together in July, attending the 2024 Wimbledon Tennis Championships in England. The couple went public with their relationship in late March and were seen holding hands in London the following month.
Despite the split, Dr. Kate didn’t shy away from responding to another Instagram user who asked, “Will you ever stop talking about Andrew?” She replied, “Sweetheart, the only people who ever talk about or centre a man in my life, work, business and social media are women like you.”
Their whirlwind romance garnered significant attention, with Dr. Kate previously addressing the negative attention surrounding their relationship.
As for Garfield, it seems the Spider-Man star is moving forward, though the confirmation of their breakup has left fans curious about what’s next for both him and Dr. Kate.
