The Weeknd’s numbers are skyrocketing, as the superstar has just shattered his own record for monthly listeners on Spotify.

With nearly 120.5 million monthly listeners, The Weeknd continues to dominate the streaming platform, solidifying his position ahead of fellow pop icon Taylor Swift, who is reportedly the only other artist surpassing 100 million listeners.

The Weeknd has held this record since first breaking the 100 million listener mark in February 2023, maintaining the title for nearly every month since, according to TMZ. It’s been a stellar few weeks for the artist on Spotify, as his hit song After Hours recently joined the platform’s exclusive Billions Club, with over 1 billion streams.

Not only is After Hours The Weeknd’s 18th song to reach 1 billion streams—more than any other artist—but he also holds the record for the most streamed song in Spotify history with his 2020 track Blinding Lights, which still reigns as the all-time top spot.

Currently, The Weeknd is busy with two sold-out shows in Australia and has two more scheduled for next weekend. Sources say he’s spending the next week in Sydney and is fully focused on delivering top-notch performances, sticking to his existing catalog rather than working on new music.

With these achievements, it’s clear that while his name may be The Weeknd, fans are streaming his music every day!
