Jake Paul, also known as “The Problem Child,” is ready to take on a new challenge—fatherhood. The YouTuber-turned-boxer recently shared his plans to start a family with his girlfriend, Olympic speed skater Jutta Leerdam, during an episode of BS With Jake Paul.
Paul expressed his excitement for the future but mentioned that their family plans are on hold due to Leerdam’s athletic career. “Jutta is on a delayed timeline here ’cause of her sport,” he said, acknowledging her commitments as an elite athlete. “As soon as she’s done on her own terms, then we’re gonna pop out a giant baby.”
Given their athletic backgrounds—Paul is a rising star in the boxing world, and Leerdam is an Olympic silver medalist—the boxer is confident their children will be “superstar athletes” in their own right.
The topic of fatherhood came up just days after Paul was seen holding his newborn niece, following the arrival of his brother Logan Paul and fiancée Nina Agdal’s baby girl in September.
Paul and Leerdam, who went public with their relationship in April 2023 after connecting on Instagram, have been vocal about their love. On their first anniversary, Paul shared a heartfelt message, saying, “I love every moment with you, even sitting in silence. As long as you’re there, I’ll be okay. I fall more in love with you every day.”
With the couple looking forward to their future family, it’s clear they’re taking things step by step—waiting for the right time. How do you feel about Jake Paul’s fatherhood plans? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
