Khloe Kardashian is getting real about her health journey after undergoing surgery to remove cancerous tissue from her face.

The 40-year-old reality star shared candid photos of the aftermath of the procedure, explaining her decision to use facial fillers to address the noticeable indentation left on her right cheek.

In an October 11 Snapchat post, Khloe explained, “As a result of the surgery, and the tumor my incredible doctor removed, I ended up with an indentation in the side of my face.” She revealed that she waited nine months post-surgery to have fillers, sharing, “We had to make sure medically everything was safe and my doctor gave me the go-ahead.”

Khloe, who shares daughter True, 6, and son Tatum, 2, with ex Tristan Thompson, posted before-and-after photos of her cheek following the filler injections. She also shared a photo of her face bandaged after the initial procedure.

The Good American founder first opened up about the face tumor in 2022, noting that a persistent bump on her face led her to seek medical attention after seven months. After a biopsy confirmed it was cancerous, doctors removed the tumor. Khloe had previously battled melanoma at age 19, which heightened her vigilance regarding her skin health.

She documented her experience on Season 3 of The Kardashians and urged fans to be proactive about skin cancer checks. “I never imagined that this tiny speck would turn into skin cancer,” Khloe wrote on Instagram in 2023. “And I can’t fathom what could have possibly happened had I not gone to the doctor to get it looked at.”
