Trippie Redd has had enough of the constant sabotage. The rapper, who once enjoyed a meteoric rise with chart-topping singles and major collaborations, is now expressing frustration over the continuous leaks of his unreleased music. On October 13, Redd took to Twitter to sound off after a fan posted leaked material online, sparking a series of tweets that became more intense as the day went on.

Redd began by venting his frustration about missing out on future collaborations due to leaks, tweeting, “If I don’t get another song with Bieber, y’all fault wtf… Leaking old songs too… get a life.” He didn’t stop there, pointing out that leaks have been a recurring problem for years, stating that his last four albums were leaked a week before their release.

One of the biggest impacts of these leaks was on his solo album Mansion Music, which was initially conceived as a double album. Redd revealed that due to leaks, he had to cut the tracklist and rush to record new material to prevent fans from hearing what had already been uploaded. “Only reason Mansion Music wasn’t a 2-part album is cuz y’all leak all the songs at once, so I had to rush it out,” he explained.

Redd also directly addressed accounts that distribute his leaked music, quote-tweeting a fan account that frequently shares his songs. “Stop leaking my music,” he demanded, adding that leaks have also affected the rollout of his next album, LIVE LOVE LAUGH DIE, scheduled for release in 2024. Nearly a dozen songs from the album have already been leaked or teased online, derailing the project’s proper release.
