Zachery Ty Bryan, best known for his role as Brad Taylor on Home Improvement, was arrested once again on suspicion of DUI.

According to arrest records viewed by Us Weekly, the 43-year-old actor was booked by the Custer County Sheriff’s Department in Oklahoma on Friday, October 25, for DUI: second felony offense and driving without a valid license.

This recent arrest adds to Bryan’s string of legal troubles over the years, particularly involving DUIs and domestic violence. His legal history includes a May 2020 guilty plea to DUI, which resulted in five years of probation and enrollment in an 18-month alcohol program due to prior offenses. Later that same year, Bryan was arrested and charged with allegedly strangling his partner, Johnnie Faye Cartwright. He ultimately struck a plea deal, pleading guilty to menacing and fourth-degree assault.

In July 2023, Bryan pleaded guilty to felony assault tied to domestic violence. Following his sentencing, Cartwright released a public statement about the difficulties surrounding their situation, asking for privacy as they navigate the healing process.

Earlier this year, Bryan was arrested again in California, charged with DUI alongside contempt of court. His most recent arrest on October 25 indicates a troubling pattern that has persisted despite prior legal interventions.

Bryan, who once reflected on the challenges of transitioning from TV fame to stability, has found it increasingly difficult to escape these legal issues. He previously spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the stigma he experienced post-Home Improvement, highlighting the difficulty of being taken seriously in Hollywood after a career rooted in television.

With this recent DUI arrest, Bryan’s legal battles seem far from over, casting another shadow over his once-prominent career.
