Former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham has once again found himself in legal trouble, this time following a traffic stop in Florida.
The 35-year-old athlete was pulled over on October 10 in Tallahassee for allegedly speeding at 78 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. Bradham was driving a 2023 KIA SUV with his two children inside when Florida Highway Patrol officers stopped him.
According to the incident report obtained by Thirsty for News, Bradham admitted to knowing that his license was suspended but chose to drive anyway. Officers noted in the documents that this wasn’t his first offense.
As the situation escalated, law enforcement discovered that Bradham also had an active warrant for possession of a controlled substance issued by Leon County.
Bradham was promptly arrested and transported to a local jail, where he posed for a mugshot that captured his frustration. He has since been released, but court records show he now faces a felony charge of driving while his license was suspended or revoked, filed in Wakulla County
This latest incident adds to a growing list of legal troubles for Bradham. Back in 2021, he was arrested after police reportedly found over three pounds of marijuana and firearms in his Corvette.
Bradham, who was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft, became a crucial part of the Philadelphia Eagles’ defense during their 2016 Super Bowl-winning season. Across his career, he accumulated 619 total tackles in 116 games, earning a reputation as a hard-hitting linebacker.
While details of his court proceedings are still developing, Bradham’s latest run-in with the law further complicates his post-NFL journey.
