Gisele Bündchen may be thrilled about welcoming a third child, but don’t expect her to walk down the aisle anytime soon.

A source close to the supermodel told Page Six that despite the joyful news, Bündchen and her jiu-jitsu instructor boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, have no immediate plans to tie the knot.

According to source, Bündchen and Valente are choosing to live together for now rather than rush into marriage. “There is a huge difference between them net-worth wise,” the source explained. “There’s no point in tempting fate as far as Gisele is concerned.”

The model, who finalized her divorce from NFL star Tom Brady in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage, is focused on creating a peaceful home for her growing family without complicating things with another legal commitment. “Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and are looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family,” an insider told People.

Bündchen, one of the wealthiest figures in fashion, has made it clear she’s comfortable focusing on her family life without the pressures of a formal relationship. Having earned millions from contracts with H&M, Chanel, and Balenciaga, the model isn’t in a rush to change her status again.

While her children with Brady—Benjamin and Vivian—are “excited to welcome a new sibling,” marriage just isn’t on Bündchen’s radar right now. “Gisele is taking things slow. She’s thrilled about the baby, but after everything she went through with her last marriage, she’s in no rush to make things official with Joaquim,” said the insider.
