Joe Rogan might sit down with Vice President Kamala Harris for an interview after all, but the podcast king is making one thing clear: it has to happen his way.
Rogan took to X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday to share the latest on the ongoing negotiations between his team and Harris’s campaign. While both camps are still ironing out the details, Rogan hinted that he isn’t happy with the terms currently on the table.
According to Rogan, Harris’s team proposed a sit-down for this Tuesday, but the suggested location and limited time weren’t appealing to him. “I would have to travel to her, and the conversation would only last an hour,” Rogan explained. Instead, Rogan is adamant that the interview needs to take place in his Austin, Texas studio, where he believes meaningful, in-depth discussions can happen.
Despite the logistical disagreements, Rogan emphasized that Harris hasn’t rejected the idea. He expressed optimism about the potential interview, saying he hopes to have a thoughtful conversation with her to better understand who she is as a person.
This development comes on the heels of Rogan’s recent three-hour podcast episode with Republican candidate Donald Trump, where the two covered a range of topics, from immigration policies to environmental concerns. The interview made waves, especially when Trump pushed Rogan for an endorsement by saying, “Elon Musk is backing me—you should too.” However, Rogan held his ground and declined to publicly endorse the former president.
For now, Rogan fans are left wondering if the same kind of marathon conversation will happen with Harris—and under what circumstances.
