Kim Kardashian is bracing herself for a messy custody battle with ex-husband Kanye West, as unsettling allegations and his reported plans to move to Japan threaten to ignite tensions.
According to sources via Radar Online, Kanye is planning to relocate to Tokyo and intends to renegotiate his custody arrangement with Kim to have their four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm—visit him overseas.
“Rumors have been swirling for a while that Kanye wants to settle in Tokyo and push for custody adjustments so the kids can travel there frequently,” one source shared. “That obviously creates a logistical nightmare, and Kim is incredibly worried about what the future holds if this move happens.”
With her children’s stability at stake, Kim is preparing for legal action. “She’ll lawyer up and fight him every step of the way if necessary,” sources added.
Adding to the tension, Kanye is currently embroiled in a wrongful termination lawsuit filed by former aide Lauren Pisciotta, who claims the rapper subjected her to explicit texts, calls, and pornographic videos during her employment between 2021 and 2022.
In a shocking turn, Pisciotta has amended her complaint to allege that Kanye sexually assaulted her during a Santa Monica studio session co-hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs. According to the lawsuit, Pisciotta says she was served a laced drink before the assault took place.
These allegations are compounding the stress for Kim, who is already grappling with co-parenting challenges. The thought of Kanye moving halfway across the world has only heightened her anxiety over the future of their children’s custody arrangement.
