It got heated between Ray J and Diddy’s sons at a Halloween party in Los Angeles over the weekend, but the tension was defused before fists could fly—thanks to an unlikely peacemaker, Chris Brown.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ that Christian, Quincy, and Justin Combs confronted Ray J outside influencer Tara Electra’s Unruly Agency Halloween bash, upset over remarks the singer has made about their father amid Diddy’s recent legal battles.

As the party wrapped in the early hours, Ray J, along with Amber Rose, his crew, and manager David Weintraub, made their way to the parking lot—only to be surrounded by the Combs brothers. The encounter quickly escalated, with sources saying the brothers got in Ray J’s face, trading words and chest bumps. Justin and Christian reportedly made it clear that they were ready to fight.

But just before things could turn into a full-blown brawl, Chris Brown jumped out of his car and, along with Weintraub, intervened to pull the brothers away. Others at the scene also stepped in to de-escalate the situation, ensuring that no one was hurt.

This wasn’t the first time the Combs brothers confronted Ray J. According to sources, they had previously approached him on multiple occasions to address his comments about their father. Though Ray J has expressed a willingness to talk, he was reportedly ready to fight back this time, feeling disrespected by what he saw as provocative behavior from the brothers.
