Halle Bailey Stuns as Halle Berry’s Bond Girl Jinx for Halloween

Halle Bailey paid tribute to none other than Halle Berry this Halloween, stepping into the Oscar winner’s shoes—or rather, her iconic Die Another Day bikini. The Little Mermaid star stunned Instagram on Wednesday, showing off her flawless take on Berry’s Jinx Johnson character from the 2002 James Bond film.

Bailey nailed every detail of the unforgettable look, rocking an orange triangle bikini, matching string bottoms, and a white knife belt. Even the pixie haircut and the tropical backdrop matched Berry’s iconic beach entrance in the movie, making it clear that Bailey went all-in for this homage.

Berry has previously discussed the effort that went into crafting her Jinx Johnson look. In a 2021 interview with Vogue, the actress recalled, “We tried on so many bathing suits. So many bikinis and so many belts.” She added, “We had a knowing that it would maybe, because it was in a Bond movie, become an iconic situation … something that would live a very, very long time.”

Bailey addressed their near-identical names during a 2023 appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark.

“Yes, well, my family, we’ve always loved Halle Berry,” Bailey explained when asked if her parents noticed the similarities. “Originally, when I was a baby, they wanted to name me Hailey, but my last name is Bailey. So that wouldn’t have worked. So they ultimately decided on Halle, and it’s very similar to Halle Berry.”

She added, “But there’s no one else I would rather have a similar name to, ’cause she’s so cool.”

The two stars first met at the Oscars in 2023 and reunited later that year during an LA Galaxy vs. Inter Miami soccer game. Berry shared the moment on Instagram, writing, “When two Halles link up 🤍 truly adore you @hallebailey.”
