Megan Thee Stallion has taken legal action against content creator Milagro Elizabeth Cooper, accusing her of spreading false narratives about the rapper’s life and involvement in the Tory Lanez case.

Megan’s lawsuit claims that Cooper promoted deepfake pornography and pushed misleading information that caused significant emotional distress and professional damage.

The lawsuit alleges that Cooper acted as a vocal supporter of Lanez, spreading false narratives to manipulate public perception. Among the accusations, Megan’s legal team highlights a fabricated video circulating online that falsely depicts Megan in explicit sexual acts.

Additionally, Cooper allegedly made false claims during Lanez’s trial, such as suggesting that Kelsey Harris recanted her testimony about Lanez brandishing a firearm. Another misleading claim was that the firearm used in the shooting had gone missing from LAPD custody, which Megan’s team confirmed was untrue.

Lanez is currently serving a 10-year sentence after being convicted of charges related to the shooting. Megan is suing Cooper for damages related to the promotion of false content, emotional distress, invasion of privacy, and defamation. She is also seeking an injunction to prevent Cooper from spreading further misinformation.

Cooper responded to the lawsuit on Twitter, saying, “I’ve been informed that I’m being sued by Alex Spiro on behalf of his client Megan Thee Stallion: ‘We are filing a civil action against you concerning your campaign of harassment and cyberbullying and the false comments you made regarding Ms. Pete… the plaintiff is aware of your conspiratorial [actions] with Mr. Peterson and knows you are a paid surrogate of Mr. Peterson.’ Of course we’ll chat about it. They threw in the tape too.”

Megan voiced her frustration about the ongoing harassment in a statement to TMZ: “It’s time to hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment, cyberbullying, and the publication of misinformation about my personal and professional life. I’ve endured countless attacks on my character based on false narratives from social media bloggers misrepresenting themselves as journalists.”

She continued, “It’s unacceptable behavior, and these individuals need to understand there will be repercussions for recklessly posting lies and defamatory falsehoods.”
