On Stephen A. Smith’s show, Snoop and Dre opened up about the album’s creative process, emphasizing the importance of originality and consistency. “Be original,” Snoop said, noting today’s trends of “copycatting” and “imitation.” Dre chimed in, highlighting his preference for a single producer’s touch on an album for continuity: “I don’t like the fact that there are nine different producers on one album. Continuity is everything.”
This back-to-basics approach has only fueled anticipation among fans eager to see Snoop and Dre’s vision come to life. With a legacy that shaped hip-hop, Missionary is set to reintroduce the synergy that defined West Coast rap.
