Rapper NLE Choppa is now adding “movie director” to his repertoire, unveiling a new twist on Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s classic comedy, The Wash. In his freshly launched NLE Choppa Presents: The Wash, released for free on YouTube, Choppa collaborates with Lil Wayne and a crew of social media influencers to create a wildly improvised and unapologetically raunchy homage.
Choppa partnered with renowned hip-hop video director Ben Marc to co-direct the film, ditching the traditional script in favor of raw improvisation. The cast, featuring Wayne, Sukihana, Ray Vaughn, Relly B, and Yaisel LM, brought their unscripted energy to every scene, delivering moments that are as unexpected as they are hilarious.
The film is tied to Choppa’s recent project, Slut SZN, doubling as a soundtrack for the movie. True to its title, The Wash doesn’t shy away from risqué humor—set at a car wash offering outlandish services like “Sloppy Toppy,” “Rim Job,” and the eyebrow-raising “Badussy Special.” It’s as unfiltered as fans would expect from Choppa.
Warner Records hosted an exclusive screening in downtown Los Angeles, where celebrities like Amber Rose, Dreezy, Kayla Nicole, Skilla Baby, Lay Bankz, and Bia gathered alongside the film’s cast to celebrate Choppa’s directorial debut. For Choppa, who was born a year after the original The Wash hit theaters, the project is a nostalgic nod to hip-hop’s roots mixed with his signature bold style.
