Gucci Mane’s former girlfriend and artist, Mac Bre-Z, has come forward with serious accusations against the rapper, claiming he owes her unpaid wages and was violent toward her during their relationship.

On Monday, November 4, Bre-Z took to Instagram to address the 1017 Records founder directly, sharing a throwback club photo with him and detailing her grievances in a powerful caption.

Bre-Z began by recounting her significant role in Gucci’s early career. “Mac Bre-z is the first artist you ever signed,” she wrote. “You loved to mention me in your songs…You loved collaborating with me on your albums & mixtapes.” Despite their past collaboration, Bre-Z alleges she was never compensated for her contributions, particularly her writing credits. “I would love to get paid for my writing credits,” she added, calling on Gucci to “do the right thing” after what she describes as years of loyalty and silence about their turbulent relationship.

In a particularly shocking claim, Bre-Z alleged that Gucci physically assaulted her, referencing an incident while he was out on bond. “When you punched me in the face I could’ve snitched & had you arrested while you was on bond for the murder case of Jeezy’s artist,” she wrote, underscoring that she “never bad mouthed” Gucci publicly, despite the incident.

Mac Bre-Z was initially signed to Gucci’s So Icy Ent. label, contributing to his breakout singles “Pillz” and “Go Head” in 2006. The two eventually parted ways, but she continued her music career, most recently releasing Return of the Mac in March 2024.

With these accusations now public, fans and industry insiders alike are watching closely as Bre-Z seeks what she says is rightful compensation and closure.
