6ix9ine is in hot water again. Just months away from wrapping up his court supervision, the rapper’s recent probation violations landed him back behind bars on October 29.
After failing multiple drug tests and neglecting to report travel plans to his probation officer, he found himself back in custody. Now, with a plea deal on the table, he’s set to face additional jail time. Associated Press reports that the plea deal outlines a month-long jail sentence, followed by a series of strict probation conditions, including home confinement and electronic monitoring.
The plea deal was reviewed by Manhattan federal judge Paul A. Engelmayer, who had previously sentenced the rapper. Engelmayer expressed disappointment over 6ix9ine’s repeated infractions, noting that he would impose the sentence as soon as 6ix9ine admits to his violations. In court, 6ix9ine reportedly apologized to the judge, asserting that he’s “not a bad person.”
Beyond his probation issues, 6ix9ine is also facing a lawsuit filed by his former girlfriend, Yailin La Más Viral, just a month before his recent arrest. In the lawsuit, Yailin accuses him of a campaign of physical and emotional abuse, alleging that he manipulated and coerced her into cosmetic surgeries while misusing her funds to finance his lavish lifestyle.
As 6ix9ine gears up for sentencing on November 12, his latest plea deal and ongoing legal battles paint a complex picture of a rapper who just can’t seem to stay out of the headlines.
