Halle Bailey is making her voice heard after a surprising move by her ex, rapper DDG. During a Twitch livestream hosted by YouTuber Kai Cenat on November 6, DDG brought out Halo, his 11-month-old son with Halle Bailey. The move didn’t sit well with the 24-year-old The Little Mermaid actress, who took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express her disapproval.
“Hi everyone. Just so you know, I am out of town and I don’t approve of my baby being on a stream tonight,” Halle tweeted.
She added, “I wasn’t told or notified, and I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people. I am his mother and protector and saddened that I wasn’t notified, especially when I am out of town.”
The post resonated with fans, who quickly showed support for Halle’s concerns about her child’s privacy. DDG, 27, has not yet responded publicly to Halle’s comments.
Halle and DDG, who started dating in 2022, welcomed their son Halo in January 2024. The couple parted ways in early October, with the breakup confirmed by the rapper. Earlier this year, Halle opened up about her struggles with postpartum depression, shedding light on her journey as a new mom and the challenges she faced.
This latest incident has sparked a conversation on social media about co-parenting boundaries and respecting a partner’s wishes, especially when it comes to the well-being of their child.
What do you think about this situation? Should co-parenting decisions include stricter communication, or was DDG out of line? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
