It seems that Diddy’s lavish Beverly Hills mansion isn’t attracting the buyer interest he may have hoped for. With the property listed at a staggering $61.5 million, potential buyers are reportedly put off not just by the price tag, but by the mounting legal controversies surrounding the music mogul.
Diddy, currently facing serious legal challenges, is behind bars in New York City, charged with sex trafficking and racketeering, and contending with several lawsuits alleging sexual assault and abuse. According to TMZ, these allegations have created a significant “ick factor” that is deterring buyers from his property. Sources noted that while there have been a few walk-throughs, interest has been minimal. One source revealed that a married couple recently toured the mansion, but the woman felt “creeped out” and was eager to leave.
The hefty price tag isn’t helping matters either. Realtors have described the $61.5 million asking price as “ridiculous,” which, combined with Diddy’s legal woes, makes for an unattractive listing. The slow holiday season for real estate may also play a role in the lack of interest.
As for Diddy himself, he remains at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His legal battles are set to continue, with a trial date scheduled for May 5, 2025, and a discovery hearing planned for December 18 of this year.
With such serious allegations and a sky-high asking price, it’s uncertain when or if Diddy’s property will sell.
