Sean “Diddy” Combs is making another push to secure bail in his federal case involving serious charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering. This follows previous failed attempts to gain bail approval.

According to court documents reportedly obtained by TMZ, Diddy’s legal team filed a new motion on Friday (November 8), arguing that his proposed bail package, valued at $50 million, should be sufficient to grant release. The package also includes constant surveillance as a safeguard against potential witness tampering and escape attempts. Despite these measures, the court has denied Diddy’s request twice since September.

In this latest motion, Diddy’s legal team pointed to successful bail cases involving similar charges. One notable example cited was that of a CEO involved in a sex trafficking case. Despite prosecutors alleging that the executive and an accomplice intimidated witnesses, the court allowed bail with a $10 million bond for the CEO and $500,000 for the accomplice—substantially less than the $50 million that Combs has proposed.

While Diddy remains held at MDC Brooklyn awaiting trial, which is set for May of next year, his legal troubles are far from over. Recently, he faced another lawsuit tied to an alleged incident from 1996. In that case, plaintiff DeWitt Gilmore accuses Diddy of assault that reportedly escalated into a car chase involving gunfire and severe threats. As of now, Diddy’s legal team has not publicly responded to these latest allegations.

In the face of mounting legal issues, Diddy’s family is stepping up to provide support and maintain a positive public image. His son, King Combs, recently took over his father’s Instagram account to spread uplifting messages and share past highlights from Diddy’s career. “We gonna be posting videos, spreading good energy and taking y’all down memory lane. All the positive things he did. So, stay tuned and watch this. Let’s go! We love you, pops,” King Combs shared on social media.

Diddy’s case remains in the spotlight, and while his legal team makes compelling comparisons to secure bail, the court’s concern over potential risks has kept him in custody.
