One of the women accusing Sean “Diddy” Combs of sexual assault has revealed her identity after a judge’s ruling.
According to new court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil denied the woman’s request to file her lawsuit anonymously. Now, Candice McCrary has come forward, publicly accusing the Bad Boy Records founder of assaulting her during a party back in 2004.
McCrary’s lawsuit lays out chilling details of that night. “Upon arriving at the hotel suite, Ms. McCrary noticed that there were a dozen people there having drinks and listening to music in a relaxed party environment,” the document states. But things took a dark turn when McCrary and her friend were abruptly led to a separate room. Believing their guide to be a security guard, she complied. “But when she asked him where they were going, he simply told her ‘You know what you are here for,’” the filing alleges.
What followed, according to McCrary, was a terrifying encounter. “Combs soon turned his sights to Ms. McCrary and forced her to take her clothes off, again under the threat of violence,” the lawsuit claims.
The details become more harrowing as it continues: “Once she was undressed, Combs forced himself on her and began to sexually assault her. Combs fondled, molested and ultimately raped Ms. McCrary, all while she was begging him to stop.”
The revelations come at a tense time for Diddy, who is currently entangled in legal issues on multiple fronts. The music mogul recently submitted a fresh bail request after being denied twice before. This time, his legal team has proposed a staggering $50 million bond, promising constant surveillance and restricted communication limited only to his attorneys. As per the Associated Press, Diddy’s next bail hearing is set for November 22, while prosecutors have until November 15 to file an opposition.
These latest accusations have sparked renewed debate around celebrity influence and the fight for justice.
