*NSYNC fans, get ready to hold onto your hats! JC Chasez recently opened up about the potential for a full-fledged reunion of the iconic boy band.
Although they’ve treated fans to brief reunions over the past year — including their collaboration with Justin Timberlake on the Trolls Band Together soundtrack song “Better Place” and “Paradise” on Timberlake’s album Everything I Thought It Was — the dream of a full tour or new music still lingers.
During a chat on the I’ve Never Said This Before with Tommy DiDario podcast, JC was asked about the chances of a future *NSYNC project. He kept the hope alive, explaining, “Look, the fun thing is, is that we’re always talking to one another, you know, and so you never know what idea could pop. Right now, everybody’s focused on projects,” referring to Timberlake’s current tour and his own upcoming Broadway concept album Playing With Fire.
Despite their busy schedules, Chasez hinted that the door is never fully closed. “We’re always talking in the background… and it only takes one idea to pop. So, anything is possible. And that’s the fun part about us. It’s just we’re one text, one phone call from something.”
He fondly reminisced about their time together, saying, “Any time we get together, there’s always something special because we had such a great run and we have such a great history with one another because it really made our lives wonderful — we had the opportunity to create things that you literally dream about.”
While nothing is set in stone, Chasez’s words are enough to reignite the excitement among *NSYNC fans who still hold out hope for a reunion that could take them back to the golden era of boy bands.
