The boxing world was focused on AT&T Stadium as Jake Paul and Mike Tyson had their big fight. That being said, the response might have been too much for Netflix to take. The stream went down, and people weren’t happy.

Fans were hyped about the Jake Paul and Mike Tyson fight on Netflix. Then around 10:00 PM, during the first co-main event of Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano, the service started having big problems. The stream started to freeze as buffering issues started to run rampant.

One fan tweeted out to say that Netflix needs to “fix the antenna.” Another sent out a poll to ask their followers if they are having issues with the Tyson vs Paul fight, and 95% of over 100 people who responded so far voted, “yes.”

Another fan tweeted out to demand that Netflix fix their buffering issues. After all, this was a big fight that a ton of people wanted to see. Suddenly, Netflix was letting a lot of people down, as the screen froze for many.

One fan was a bit more brutal with their delivery as they tweeted out to say, “Netflix is trash… Can’t handle the stream demand… #TysonVsJake they should have streamed it on @X … Smh.”

This is not a great sign for Netflix if a burst in interest for their live event like this can cause such problems. Hopefully, they are able to fix things before WWE RAW debuts on the streaming service in January 2025.
