Sylvester Stallone isn’t pulling any punches when it comes to showing support for Donald Trump. The legendary Rocky actor made headlines after speaking at an event at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate on Thursday night, where he compared the president-elect to none other than his iconic character, Rocky Balboa, and even George Washington.

Stallone kicked off his speech by reminiscing about the opening scene of his 1976 classic boxing film Rocky. He vividly described how the camera panned from a painting of Jesus Christ inside a converted church-turned-boxing ring, where Rocky is seen taking a beating under the words, “Resurrection AC Club.” Drawing a parallel to Trump’s underdog victory, Sly said, “At that moment, Rocky becomes the chosen person who starts his journey and goes through a metamorphosis to change lives — just like President Trump.”

Sly didn’t stop there. He called Trump a “mythical character” and expressed admiration for his resounding victory over Kamala Harris in the 2024 election. “This individual does not exist on this planet. Nobody could’ve pulled off what he pulled off so I’m in awe,” Stallone remarked.

Taking his praise a step further, the actor likened Trump to George Washington, noting, “GW had no clue he was going to change the world while defending the nation during the American Revolution.” Stallone then posed a bold question to the crowd, “Guess what? We got the second George Washington.”

To top off the night, Stallone welcomed Trump onto the stage as cheers erupted from a star-studded audience that included Tulsi Gabbard, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Elon Musk, and Tucker Carlson.
