The pop world collided in the best way possible on Friday night when Christina Aguilera made a surprise appearance at Sabrina Carpenter’s Los Angeles concert.

Fans at the packed Crypto.com Arena were in for a treat as the “Burlesque” queen joined Carpenter onstage for jaw-dropping renditions of “Ain’t No Other Man” and “What a Girl Wants.” Social media exploded as videos of the dynamic performance made the rounds, showing the duo effortlessly lighting up the stage.

Aguilera looked as fierce as ever, rocking a black corset paired with tiny shorts and shimmering thigh-high boots that screamed diva glamour. Carpenter matched the energy, with both blond pop stars coordinating in dark, edgy ensembles that complemented the electric atmosphere.

This isn’t the first time the two stars have shared the spotlight. Back in September, Aguilera and Carpenter teamed up for a special Spotify Anniversaries episode celebrating the 25th anniversary of Aguilera’s self-titled debut album. The episode featured fresh takes on Aguilera’s iconic hits and included collaborations with Carpenter and MGK. “I wanted to celebrate the 25th anniversary of my debut album in a way that brings together the past and present,” Aguilera told Rolling Stone at the time. “I’ve always enjoyed reimagining my songs with different styles and audiences.”

For Carpenter, sharing the stage with her idol is a full-circle moment. In an August interview with Paper Magazine, the 25-year-old gushed about Aguilera, saying, “She’s very special to me. Those songs raised me.” Carpenter’s admiration goes back to her early years. “I was 11 years old and you couldn’t get her name out of my mouth,” she shared.

Carpenter’s Los Angeles takeover isn’t done yet, as she’s set to perform two more shows at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, over the weekend.
