The Rock Surprises Kids in LA Watts Empowerment Center with Custom Bus

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a well-known figure, recognized as one of the biggest and most influential stars in professional wrestling. He is also known for being one of the kindest people around, and he proved this again by giving the kids at the LA Watts Empowerment Center a brand new bus.

The multi-time World Champion is not just one of the most globally recognized stars but is also known for his kindness. The Rock is notably generous, often lending a helping hand to those in need.

The Great One took to his Instagram and uploaded a video, revealing that he heard that many kids in Watts had never left their neighborhood or gone to fun places like the beach. Wanting to change that, he got them a custom-made bus so they could go wherever they wanted. He surprised the boys and girls at the LA Watts Empowerment Center by showing up in his pickup truck and he gave them popcorn, tickets to his “Red One” movie, $100 gift cards but saved the best gift for last.

Johnson praised the center for its caring adults and said it was an honor to work with them. The Rock reminded everyone that these kids matter and deserve love, protection, and chances to succeed. He finished by saying how much energy the kids brought, wishing them a Merry Christmas, and hoping they enjoy their new bus.

“I heard a lot of these kids in Watts, have never been out of their hood. Never been to the beach, never been anywhere fun in Los Angeles. I wanted to help change that. Got them their own custom made bus 🚌 to take them wherever they want to go. I pulled up in my pick up to SURPRISE the boys and girls of the LA Watts Empowerment Center! This is a very special organization with very committed and caring adults that I’ve had the true honor of working with. The lives of these kids matter and they deserve to be uplifted, loved, protected and given opportunities. For the record, The Rock’s “Red One” is already struggling at the Box Office. Regardless, The Rock simply wanted to spread some Holiday cheers in advance and fans love him for his actions.
