Madonna is no stranger to breaking barriers and pushing the envelope, but even the Queen of Pop is facing challenges with her long-anticipated biopic.

The 66-year-old “Like a Prayer” icon took to social media to share the hurdles she’s faced while trying to bring her life story to the big screen, hinting that it’s been anything but an easy ride.

“After struggling for days in LA, listening to producers and agents tell me why I couldn’t make my film — I (been working on it for 4 years!!!) downsize-down scale -think smaller-they say — I realized that everything in my life is going to be challenged,” Madonna revealed.

Despite the pushback from Hollywood bigwigs, Madonna isn’t backing down. In her candid post, she reflected on the uphill battle and how it’s made her more determined than ever. “No easy rides for me. I guess I should be grateful.. It forces me to think outside the box. I did not have a normal life. I cannot make this in the normal way,” she continued.

Madonna also shared that spending time with her creative circle has fueled her spirit. “We all agreed that we need to be even more fearless!!! Art = Survival. We cannot shrink and make ourselves smaller.”

And in true Madonna fashion, she posed a big question to her fans: “If you want something badly enough in life — the whole universe will conspire to hel[p] you get it. Should I make the story of my life into a series or a feature film? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Think before you answer!!”

As she debates the future of her biopic—whether to keep fighting for a movie or shift gears and turn it into a TV series—one thing is clear: Madonna isn’t done making waves.

What do you think Madonna should do? Should she turn her life story into a TV series or stick with a feature film? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
