Megan Thee Stallion is gearing up for a major legal battle next year. A judge has officially set the trial date for Megan’s defamation lawsuit against blogger Milagro Gramz for September 8, 2025. While both sides initially requested a July trial, the court pushed the date, leaving room for continued settlement negotiations.

The Hot Girl Summer rapper filed the lawsuit after accusing Milagro of spreading falsehoods about her personal life and the high-profile criminal case involving Tory Lanez. “It’s time to hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment, cyberbullying, and the publication of misinformation about my personal and professional life,” Megan told VIBE.

Megan also emphasized the impact of these accusations on her well-being. “I’ve endured countless attacks on my character based on false narratives from social media bloggers misrepresenting themselves as journalists. It’s unacceptable behavior, and these individuals need to understand there will be repercussions for recklessly posting lies and defamatory falsehoods.”

Milagro Gramz is receiving legal support from Tory Lanez’s nonprofit, Unite the People, with attorney Michael Hayden initially stepping in. However, since Hayden isn’t licensed to practice law in Florida, Milagro has hired additional representation to handle her defense.

The lawsuit’s timing coincides with Megan’s continued rise in the entertainment world. Following the release of her documentary In Her Words, which reflects on her experiences, including being shot by Tory Lanez in 2020, Megan also dropped a reissue of her third studio album, Megan, on October 25.

Meanwhile, Tory Lanez is serving a 10-year prison sentence for the 2020 shooting incident, which became a defining moment in Megan’s career and public narrative.

With the trial now on the calendar, fans and legal observers alike will be watching closely to see if Megan and Milagro can settle their differences out of court or if this defamation battle will play out in front of a judge.
