Pete Davidson is putting the rehab rumors to rest in style. Just a day after reports surfaced claiming the Saturday Night Live alum had checked into a Florida treatment center, Davidson was spotted courtside at a Brooklyn Nets game. The comedian appeared to be in great spirits as he enjoyed the game at the Barclays Center alongside his mom, Amy.

Davidson’s appearance couldn’t have come at a better time, as speculation swirled following claims by The US Sun that he had entered rehab for a second time this year. According to the report, an insider alleged that Davidson was “in pretty bad shape” and sought treatment following a brief fling with The Bachelor alum Maria Georgas.

However, a source close to Davidson was quick to debunk the story. “This is inaccurate,” the insider told Page Six. “He’s not in rehab,” confirming that Davidson was currently in New York. The courtside sighting seems to confirm those statements, as Davidson appeared relaxed and all smiles with his mom at his side.

Davidson has been open about his mental health struggles, previously checking into rehab in July 2023 following a split with actress Madelyn Cline. At the time, friends described the move as a routine “tune-up” for the King of Staten Island star, who has been candid about prioritizing his well-being.

During his Rehab Tour comedy special in Atlantic City, Davidson reflected on his past substance use, joking, “I can’t quit [weed] yet. It’s all I have left.” He added, “I did coke and ketamine and f–king all the pills and all that s–t. All I have is weed left, so it’s almost over, but I’m holding on for a little bit longer.”

For now, Davidson seems to be proving that the latest rumors are nothing but noise. With a public courtside appearance and good company, it’s clear that he’s keeping things light and focused on the present.
