Minecraft fans, get ready to step inside your favorite blocky world because Mojang and Microsoft are teaming up with Merlin, the masterminds behind Legoland, to bring Minecraft-themed parks to life.

Slated to open between 2026 and 2027 in the United States and the UK, these parks promise rides, attractions, and even pixel-perfect food and beverages inspired by the best-selling game of all time.

Merlin CEO Scott O’Neil couldn’t contain his excitement, calling the partnership a “significant milestone” for the company and an opportunity to bring Minecraft’s creativity into the real world.

“This is a significant milestone for Merlin, which reinforces our commitment to reaching new audiences through bold and captivating concepts,” said O’Neil. “Minecraft is the best-selling video game of all time, and this world-first will see fans experience its thrill and creativity in real life… replicating Merlin’s tried-and-tested approach to globally launching new concepts as we have with LEGO, Peppa Pig, Sony Pictures, CBeebies and others.”

The film, along with these parks and the game’s consistent updates, could make Minecraft an even bigger phenomenon than it already is.

Between books, comics, merchandise, and now real-life attractions, Minecraft continues to build a legacy that bridges generations. Fans of all ages are sure to flock to these parks, ready to immerse themselves in the blocky magic they’ve loved for over a decade.

With the promise of exclusive content, themed rides, and iconic worlds brought to life, Minecraft fans are already buzzing with excitement for these parks.
