Cardi B is all about keeping her kids in check as she navigates a rollercoaster of a year.
The Bronx rapper, known for her no-nonsense attitude, took to Instagram Stories on Thursday (November 21) to issue a playful yet stern warning to her six-year-old daughter Kulture and three-year-old son Wave before their upcoming parent-teacher conferences.
“I better hear some good s**t or else,” Cardi quipped, making it clear she has high expectations for her kids’ performance and behavior at school. She didn’t hold back, humorously outlining the consequences of bad news: “iPads will be broken, phones will be thrown in the garbage, TVs will be disconnected, cables will be turned off. I am not playing. I am that type of mom.”
While her comments were delivered with Cardi’s signature humor, she clarified she was just kidding—mostly. “I really care about how my kids do at school,” she added, emphasizing that she wants to set a positive example, especially for her and Offset’s newest addition, their two-month-old baby girl.
This playful moment comes amid a challenging year for Cardi. During a recent Instagram Live, the “WAP” hitmaker opened up about her personal struggles, from her ongoing divorce with Offset to the delay of her highly anticipated sophomore album. “This has been the most weirdest year I have ever experienced,” Cardi confessed. “I don’t know what the f**k happened this year, I can’t even tell you. […] I fell in love, then fell out of love, then got a divorce.”
Despite the chaos, Cardi remains optimistic about the future, teasing big plans for 2025. “Next year, my album will be out, my secret businesses will be out,” she revealed. “Hopefully next year I get me a little boyfriend. I’m h*e-less right now. I gotta get my s**t together.”
Fans are eagerly waiting for Cardi’s next moves—whether it’s her album, her secret ventures, or even a new romance.
